About our Doctors
Dr. Clara Lucia Nuñez Romero
With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Clara Lucía Núñez is a dentist graduated from the National University of Colombia and a specialist in Functional Orthopedics and Orthodontics. She is also a Doctor in Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
She is originally from Colombia where she worked for more than 9 years in her own practice, and then decided to travel with her family to the United States to continue her studies and later opened Dentist Salud.
Dr. Núnez Romero stands out for her dedication, and for offering personalized treatment to her patients. “I am very proud and grateful to have the opportunity to work with my family to do what we are passionate about and that is reflected in our work with patients”. In her spare time, Dr. Núñez enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.

About our Doctors
Dra. Sara L. Baquero Núñez
Dr. Sara Baquero is a Doctor in Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry at Chapel Hill, as well as a degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Her passion for dental health and helping the community led her to voluntarily join a UNC initiative in 2017 to bring supplies and dental care to orphanages in vulnerable areas of Mexico.
Dr. Baquero Núñez is fluent in Spanish and English, and is known for listening attentively to her patients, knowing their questions and concerns to ensure that they are comfortable, calm and informed about their dental care.

About our Doctors
Dr. Carlos Baquero Núñez
He is a Doctor in Dental Medicine from Eastern Carolina University Dental School and a BS in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Likewise, he has extended his studies with a dental implant program endorsed by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).
Dr. Baquero Núñez’s work is characterized by attention to detail, and by creating a pleasant environment for the patient. “I believe that trust is fundamental, so I strive to always provide my patients with the attention and treatment that I would like to receive if I were on the other side of the chair”.
Dr. Baquero Núñez is Colombian, speaks Spanish and English, and is very proud to work for the Hispanic community in North Carolina.
